The government has cancelled the late-July date for Cayman’s constitutional referendum, making it a retrospective “up or down” poll -- simultaneous with next year’s general election -- on a document negotiated with London this autumn.

“We have decided to defer the holding of the constitutional referendum until the conclusion of constitutional discussions with the United Kingdom government and production of a drat constitution,” Leader of Government Business, the Hon. Kurt Tibbets, told a national TV audience on Friday morning.

Maybe a change for the better to keep out the Beast of the House Or will they take him out in 2009 to make him feel good about the poor work bein done in the Government.. Wink Rolling Eyes
