"Metropolitan Police Senior Investigator Martin Bridger has retired from the London-based organisation and is considering a contract with the Governorís Office whereby he will continue his corruption probe of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS).

Mr Bridger said the agreement means he would ďbe working for the Governor and will remain as a senior investigating officer on this investigation, but technically, will not be with the Metropolitan Police. I will be in service as a special police constable for the RCIPS.Ē

He moved quickly, however, to dispel any doubts about his role as leader of the nine-member investigating team looking into allegations of police corruption."

Seems more like a get together by the Governor and Mr. Bridger to work out the bits and pieces and to nip curruption in our RCIPS people... Idea
